A brisk walk can reduce Chocolate cravings

Researchers suggest that walking just 15 minutes per day could reduce chocolate cravings.

Adrian H.Taylor PHD, a professor of health sciences at the University of Plymouth and HwajungOh from the College of Life & Environmental Sciences, University of Exeter, UK completed a study of chocolate eaters, and found that a walk of just fifteen minutes can reduce chocolate cravings.

Previous studies have determined that exercise assists with managing dependencies on nicotine addiction. A short bout of physical activity reduced cravings and were similar for normal and overweight/obese participants.This could be good news for people who struggle to manage cravings for sugary snacks and want to lose weight.

Participants engaged in tasks that would normally induce chocolate cravings, and then were able to choose to walk or rest, reported lower cravings when they walked compared to resting, so if you are craving a chocolate it helps to head out for a walk.
